Our Progressive Supper Party & New Year's Fun!

We had a fun New Year's Eve. Our friend's came over for appetizers and main course-they devoured our meatballs, crab & whiskey sours. Then we were off to their home for desserts-Red velvet cupcakes w cream cheese icing w lemon zest & cookies! Bailey's Irish cream coffee! Then champagne to bring in the new year with hugs & kisses.
(sorry no pics)

We watched their video from white water rafting in West Virginia! OMG!!

My girlfriend will then be off this am as a nurse in the maternity ward/nursery at Shore Memorial Hosptial 6 am! What a trooper!

Now getting ready for our party today...

Saw an author on TV this am, "Forget Perfect" Great title!
Here are my resolutions...I need a few!
1. lose 10 lbs/work my heart better
2. save lots of $$
3. go to Italy
4. read a book a month (I am not a reader) except for news, blogs, etc.
5. say..i love you...more
6. get more organized
7. genealogy-finish writing family stories & pics

We have been to First Night several times but last yr was our first watching the Polar Plunge! It is AWESOME. Last year about 1000 participated. Chilly ocean about 38 degrees!!

Have a fabulous Day whatever...love more/complain less/

Tomorrow we are off for Gracie's Birthday Party. She will have a Nutcracker theme!

  1. OMG! i could NEVER to the ocean plunge. but how fun to watch. what a fun & daring thing to do on the first day of the new year. wow.
your progressive dinner sounds amazing. i have never been involved in one. i think we should get one started. fortunately, for us we have a great group of neighbors. i will have to bring this up as a idea. but i have the most mouths to feed in my house of the block. they might become suspicious. :)

    happy new year.
i am still thinking about the thought of "plunging in" BRRRRR.
