Aaron- A blessing to us! Happy Birthday!

Aaron- A blessing to us! Train up a child in the way they should go…

Our son Aaron was born 32 years ago today, June 3rd.

He came 2 weeks early and in less than 2 hours!! My water broke at 8 am, we got to the hospital at 9 am and he was born at 9:53 am. I was more in shock than worrying about the pain. His sister, Amy was 2 ½ years old and we are blessed that they have been close their whole lives. I was 22 when he was born.

I was blessed to be a stay at home Mom and blessed to be there for all my kid’s milestones.

I had Noah’s Ark Pre School when Aaron was 4. Aaron went to Atlantic Christian School and the Pilgrim Academy. He was point guard in Basketball and a great 3 pt shooter! We have fond memories of going to his games. We were blessed by all the wonderful teachers and Youth Leaders that taught values to our kids and also gave them a great education.

At Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, he majored in Business and Youth Ministry and played guitar & was a prayer leader in his dorm. He has gone on mission trips to Jamaica and Panama. Amy & Aaron below.

After graduation he worked at BEN Marketing in Stamford, CT on the Holiday Inn and Coke accounts and traveled on the Invent it Tour all over the country (demonstrating Computer Software). When his sister was getting her Master’s in Calif he moved to Laguna Beach and worked at a Summer Beach Camp. He met Amanda while working at BEN and they kept in touch after he left BEN. He then moved back to New Jersey and starting learning the plumbing, heating and air conditioning trade. Aaron is a real asset to our business and is now a Master Plumber.

Aaron and Amanda eloped in 2004 (knowing we would not approve of them living together, they were getting ready to buy a house & didn't want to spend $ on a wedding at the time). We had a fun party on my parent’s dock the next summer to celebrate! We are so blessed to have them living nearby and raising their beautiful daughter Adley. They have a wonderful group of friends and Aaron is a very talented singer/songwriter. He has played in Judah’s Song and The Glen Taylor Band. He also loves to surf! But most of all he has a real heart for God.

  2. Happy birthday to your son! He's quite the success and I'm sure you are beyond proud. And, you hardly look old enough to have a son who is 32!
