August Birthdays

My daughter Amy was born on my birthday 35 years ago…She has been such a blessing to our family. She is an intelligent, warm person who has a Master's in English and was a High School AP English Teacher and English Lit Prof before having 3 children and being a stay at home Mom. She is married to a terrific guy, RJ, who is a Philosophy Professor. We try to spend our birthdays together every year. This year we were all together at the shore.

Amy and Clara.

We had a great weekend on the beach, boardwalk, rides and pool!

We had chicken and steak fajitas, black bean corn salad, salsa and nachos, fritos and hot bean & cream cheese dip. We served two cocktails The Blue Hawaiian

The Lemon Drop

I had fun making this cake decorated with seashells and graham cracker crumbs for sand.

Everyone had fun swimming in the pool. My brother Jeff also celebrated his 46th Birthday!
