Fresh Seafood Anyone?

One of the greatest things about living at the Jersey Shore is the fresh seafood. We enjoy going down to the Lobster House in Cape May. It is one of the top 10 Seafood Restaurants in the country. You can eat in the main dining room or get take out seafood platters and sit out on their docks and enjoy a beautiful view. The take out eating on the dock is half the price of eating inside!

They also have a raw bar where you can get steamed Lobster, steamed Blue Claw Crabs, steamed shrimp cocktail along with pitchers of beer, soda and glasses of wine. The earlier you get there the better chance of not having to wait for a table. The lobster was delicious dipped in butter! We had fun picking crabs too.

What are some of your family traditions every summer?

  1. I'm so jealous! There's nothing like fresh seafood. And since we're land-locked, I can only get it during our beach vacations (which seems so long ago, now). Hope you and your family have a great Labor Day weekend - I'm sure it will be spent by the water! We'll likely be by the water, too, albeit the chlorine variety. :)
