Fun Walk in the Woods

This park is right down the street from our house. I want to go back when the leaves are at their peak! How are the leaves in your area?...I am in South Jersey...
Best wishes, Jennifer aka Gigi

Playing with the Grandkids

We had a great time with the grand kids over Columbus Day Weekend! Hope you are having a great week...Jennifer aka Gigi

Some TV time, a great babysitter!... but most of the time was spent outdoors!
Vitamin D is so important to our health. Try to get outside every day!

Washington Inn in Cape May

We recently had a lovely dinner at the Washington Inn in Cape May when my sister and her husband were in town.
Isn't this Chocolate Mousse Tower unbelievable? If you get to the Cape May area you will have one of the best meals of a lifetime!

Here is my sister Jessica and her husband Chris. He is a real Ad Man (like Don Draper on Mad Men)from one of the top Ad Agencies in the country.

Incredible scallops and risotto with creamy succotash with sweet white corn.

Delectable filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus.

Crab cake appetizer with roasted red pepper sauce.

Me and my sweet husband.

Sisters with our parents and hubbies.

Around the Corner I have a friend...

Around the Corner
By Henson Towne

Around the corner I have a friend
In this great city that has no end.
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it, a year is gone.
And I never see my old friend's face,
For life is a swift and terrible race.

He knows I like him just as well
As in the days when I rang his bell,
And he rang mine.
We were younger then,
And now we are busy, tired men.
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name.

"Tomorrow" I say "I will call on Jim."
"Just to show that I'm thinking of him."
But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,
And distance between us grows and grows.

Around the corner!-yet miles away,
"Here's a telegram sir-"
"Jim died today."
And that's what we get and deserve in the end.
Around the corner, a vanished friend.

How to stimulate the economy?

Got this today...thought you might be interested...

Entrepreneur dies at 25
Make sure you read it all..................
Tragedy strikes again...another heartbreak for New Orleans!
It seems like every couple of days New Orleans loses one of its treasured entrepreneurs.
These people are the hope for the city and we must call a halt to this unfortunate trend if we
ever expect to see a vibrant city again..
Entrepreneur?????
It took me a couple of minutes to get it, but imagine,
He's 25 and has 3 sons and 6 daughters NINE
welfare recipients collecting $1500 each.....
That equals $13,500 a month !!! Now add food stamps,
Free medical, free school lunches, on and on and
on. Now that, to me, is a real Entrepreneur.
Do the math: that's over $156,000.00 a
year. Anybody out there sittin' on their backside while reading this message making that kind of money?
is this a Great Country or What..........
YOUR TAX $$$$ AT WORK??
